EASTER THE NEW ORLEANS STYLE

Last weekend Kasia joined me for Easter in the "deep south." Saturday morning we drove to New Orleans, a great city pulsating with life at any hour of the day. We had a perfect day for exploring the city and visiting the famous French Quarters. In the evening we drove back to Biloxi and went to the Elton John concert. It was quite impressive to watch and listen to him play and sing, without an intermission, for over two and half hours. Something to remember, indeed.

Waiting for the famous New Orleans Gumbo

One can never have too many t-shirts

Some of the beautiful architecture of the French Quarters ........

and mesmerizing street artwork

Music and dancing all day

The "famous" Bourbon Street. This was the only sign I could find that was undamaged or not fully plastered over with stickers. It was so different from how I have imagined it

And a touch of Poland
